Way Behind On Pictures

Way Behind On Pictures

Hey! So, I got really behind on pictures the last few days. I was still getting the hang of being back at school and all the homework. Getting out of the summer mindset has been really hard to do. Anyway, so here is what happened in pictures since Thursday.

On, Thursday I made peach cobbler for my house. It was good, but I definitely didn’t cook it long enough. The best part was that I didn’t officially pay for any of the ingredients that I used to make it. Both the peaches and the bread came from my dining hall and we had the other ingredients in the house. This Friday, at the College’s annual spirit day. It’s not really a spirit day in which people show their school spirit though. Instead it’s a big fair type thing where all the student organizations have tables and get people to sign up. There are performances by the band and A Capella  groups. This picture is of the Irish Dancing Group performing.Water Balloon Fight! Last night we had a water balloon fight outside the house. It was loads of fun. However campus security saw us and called us over. We all thought that they were going to write us up for something as ridiculous as a water balloon fight. Thankfully that was not the case and we only had to make sure not to break windows or hit cars. Finally, this is my Macroeconomics textbook. I’ve only been to three classes and can already tell that this will be my least favorite class this semester. Reading the book is like sloughing through a dense forest and not going anywhere. I read the words, but that doesn’t mean I understand them.

I really love the academic quad at my campus. Don’t you think it’s pretty, also? I like it so much, in fact, that I studied outside almost all day Tuesday. I love being surrounded by the Collegiate Gothic buildings and feeling like just being surrounded by them makes me smarter.
